THOMAS MEMORIAL- This week's art style theme is De Stijl - De Stijl was a circle of Dutch abstract artists who promoted a style of art based on a strict geometry of horizontals and verticals. Originally a publication, De Stijl was foundedin 1917 by two pioneers of abstract art, Piet Mondrian and Theo van Doesburg.De Stijl means style in Dutch.

BLOUNTVILLE-Whether you want to learn or want to continue working on your current project, all can join the Knit/Crochet Club. Participants will share ideas and patterns, and have opportunities to serve others by making and donating items to area nonprofits. All skill levels are welcome!

The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
