Friends of the Library

The Friends of Sullivan County Public Libraries is an association of persons interested in supporting the aims and services of the Sullivan County Public Library system by providing volunteer hours and financial support for library materials, programs, and services.

How can you get involved? Join the Friends for as little as $5. Your friendship supports library services and programs for your community. As a Friends member, you receive a loyalty punch card entitling you to 12 free books from our Friends of the Library book sale. 

Friends of the Sullivan County Public Libraries is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations are tax-deductible. For questions about the Friends of the Library, please email fol@scpltn.org.

Volunteer Opportunities

Our Library depends on volunteer help from community members like you! Volunteer opportunities for ages 14 and older can be on a regular schedule (background check required) or a temporary basis and may fulfill college, club or court-appointed service hours. All volunteers will receive training and have access to a library employee who can answer questions.
