Come and join our librarians for a boat construction craft and activity! Participants can use their imagination to come up with different shapes and sizes for their boats, and use various construction techniques such as cutting, gluing, and folding to bring their creations to life. Participants will compete with each other to see who’s boat can float the longest.
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
