*Sullivan Gardens: After Hours Adult Craft: Sashiko-Inspired Embroidered Mug Rug

Adult and teen patrons will make their own mug rug inspired by Japanese-style embroidery, called sashiko. Attendees will learn to do a running stitch and blanket stitch to create their own personalized coaster for their favorite warm beverage. All materials will be provided, and patrons get to take home the sewing needles they use during the program. No prior skills in sewing are necessary for participation. Registration is required.
