Colonial Heights: Art History with Daniel

Baroque Architecture – Architects of this period used grandeur, drama and contrast (especially in lighting), curvaceousness, and an often dizzying array of rich surface treatments, twisting elements, and gilded statuary. This art program is for ages 8-12. No RSVP required. Kids will learn about the art period, the works of art and some of the artists and they’ll do a bit of art inspired by what they’ve learned.
