Local Bloomingdale horticulturalist, Bill Durham, will be at the Bloomingdale Library! He will be discussing different types of plants, and the correct soil to use when planting. He will be available from 10:30-12:30 for those interested to drop by with their sickly plant so he can address the issue. This is free and no registration is required.
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
