We offer a wide variety of events at each of our branch locations in Sullivan County! From storytimes, book clubs, craft projects, and more, there’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Closed for MLK Jr. Day

Thomas Memorial Branch 481 Cedar St, Bluff CIty

All branches of the Sullivan County Library will be closed on Monday, January 16th for the federal Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. We will reopen with normal hours on Tuesday, January 17th. The SCPL offers numerous online options and two apps that are available 24/7. You never have to be without reading material!

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library. 

Participants may sign up online or in the library.
