We have a weekly hiking club for new hikers or those who enjoy an easier hike. We usually meet at Bays Mountain Park and Planetarium and hike one of the trails together. Bays Mountain Park and Planetarium does have a $7 parking fee for vehicles. RSVP is required so we can arrange a meet-up location or let you know of any changes of plan. Please RSVP by phone to 423-349-5990 by the day before the event.
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
