Saturday Matinee

March 9 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

It’s time for another Saturday Matinee at the Blountville branch! Come eat themed snacks while watching Secret of the Kells in time for St. Patrick’s day.  This movie lasts 1 hour and 13 minutes, though not rated, it is often suggested for ages 8+

A mysterious illustrator comes to visit a remote Irish monastery on the verge of a Viking invasion. A young monk named Brendan leaves the only home he has known in order to find the proper berry to mix the special ink to complete the powerful and magical Book of Kells with the help of a cat and a fairy.
