Elementary age children are encouraged to make an appointment to read to Cinnamon the dog! Don’t let those reading skills slide this summer. Engage your child in a fun way to read, by reading to a fuzzy but patient listener. 15 minute appointments are available. Children can bring their own book or pick one from the library. The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
