Don’t let those reading skills slip during the summer! Get extra practice in a fun way with Cinnamon the Dog. Cinnamon is a great listener and can help reluctant readers build confidence. Make an appointment for your elementary student for a 15 minute session to read to Cinnamon by calling 423-239-1100.
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
