Celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day with a Chocolate Chip cookie bake off. Patrons are encouraged to bake their best chocolate chip cookie for a blind taste test. Participants will each get one vote to submit for the best cookie. Taste testing will begin at 10:00 am and voting will start after all tasting has been concluded.
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
