Girls Who Code has gone virtual and is now meeting on Zoom! Now you can join this tech-savvy club from anywhere in the region. Girls Who Code is a fun computer coding class that issues challenges and helps girls in grades 6-12 develop computer coding skills, with other girls who share that interest. You must pre-register to receive the Zoom invite. Register by calling the Bloomingdale branch at 423-288-1310.
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
