Come join us at the Bloomingdale branch to unwind after school. We’ll read a chapter book together. No pressure to answer questions like with a book-club. Being read to is a great way to passively build vocabulary, reduce stress and enhance language skills.
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
