It’s banned books week! Come celebrate books with the Sullivan County Public Library and Fox’s Den Board Game Café. We will have banned book bingo, and trivia with great prizes! Get to know some of your library staff and talk about books – some have been challenged that might surprise you. The Fox’s Den offers both hot and cold coffees, teas and desserts in a cozy atmosphere and is located at 1323 Hwy 394 Suite A in Blountville right off the interstate.
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
