The month of October we will be putting a focus on using pens in artwork. October is an interesting month for artist as the yearly Inktober challenge takes places, where artists try to use pens and inks in their artwork almost exclusively. This first week we will practice drawing with pens and approach the issue of no erasing!
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
