This week we will continue building our observation skills with a challenge. Blind contouring involves drawing an object that you are observing, without looking at the page. This builds hand-eye coordination and improves observation skills. It also showcases how important observation is in art!
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
