Putting together many of the things we have talked about we’ll end our back-to-basics lessons with balance. We’ll talk about the elements that create balance as well as the three types of balance. We will be creating abstract triptychs (three pieces of art meant to be viewed together) using the three types of balance.
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
