Mr. Daniel will lead kids ages 8-12 through a new art history lesson each week, this month we’ll be looking at famous works of arts from different countries. This week we’ll study the city of Florence – In this small Italian city, art is present in every corner. Florence is one of the most prominent Renaissance art centers in Europe. No reservations required to attend.
The 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program aims to get children and families reading together! For every 100 books read, participants will receive a book to keep from SCPL. To redeem your prize, turn in a completed 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten sticker sheet at any branch library.
Participants may sign up online or in the library.
